OUR TEAM

Maria McDonagh

Senior Immigration Law Advisor | Senior Registered Migration Agent

Maria is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 1463510).

There is something to be said for someone who has lived the experience of relocating to a new country – and for Maria, that experience is not just personal history, it is the foundation of how she practises. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Maria made the move to Australia in 2011, and has spent the years since building a career in the migration industry with a depth of understanding that only comes from genuinely knowing what it means to start fresh in a new place.

Maria works closely with businesses of all sizes, helping them navigate Australia’s skilled migration framework through employer-sponsored and nominated visa pathways. She is known for delivering outcomes that are both practical and compliant – because for the employers and applicants she works with, getting it right the first time is what matters.

Her legal background, spanning a Bachelor of Laws with Criminology, a Master of Laws in Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice, and a postgraduate qualification in Australian immigration law, gives her a rigorous foundation that clients can rely on when their matters require careful, considered advice.

When she is not working through complex visa matters, Maria can usually be found on a soccer pitch or a tennis court – which perhaps explains the competitive streak she brings to advocating for her clients.
